Follow Up Visit

Post-Op Appointment

For most appointments, we ask our patients to return to our office 7-10 days after surgery to ensure the surgical site(s) are healing properly. During this post operative visit we will check the surgical site(s) for debris (food) particles that can be lodged in the surgical site (s), which is normal and we will gently remove any debris by irrigating the areas of extraction to ensure they are kept clean and free of particles. If necessary, we will remove any sutures (stitches) that you may have received as most of our sutures are dissolvable leaving the area to heal properly.

That’s it. The process of having Oral Surgery is successfully accomplished!
